After the Publisher’s advance copy of Wild Ride was signed by Kathy and fellow contributors Patti and Diane, the book was presented to Patti as the woman traveling the greatest distance to the Derby. All the women signed this very special copy and added their own mini story of the week’s fishing experience.

I cannot tell a lie…I did not catch a halibut this year (2022). This little “chicken” was a gift to me. Thank you, Jeanette! So next year, I can look forward to the halibut challenge again. The real gift of the Derby are the wonderful relationships…the bond of sisterhood formed between all the women. Thank you Rugged Point Lodge for a memory for the ages.
